A thanks to volunteer Janet Alford

EPHS thanks volunteer Janet Alford who has taken on the enormous task of reorganizing and consolidating the files in the work room. She's been at the Society over the last several months sifting through the multitude of folders and throwing out the superfluous. She recently completed a reorganization of all the death notices and funeral programs for native East Pointers so that everything the Society has relating to that person's demise is alphabetized by last name in these books.

It made me realize that no one has been clipping out death notices from the local papers since we lost our ever-so-dedicated Steven Bramlett, who was so diligent about these details.

Is there anyone in our growing membership who might be interested in keeping up with this part of our history? To continue what Janet has so beautifully reorganized for us? Please let us know!
